[Ta Kung Pao 13/01/05]

TVB's new series "Fantasy Hotel" held its start of filming blessing ceremony yesterday and cast members present included Melissa Ng, Michael Tao, Wayne Lai and Devily Leung. During the event, when the crew noticed the appearance of Michael and Melissa, they immediately shouted out their new joint nickname "Tai Yu Mei Yan" [Literal translation: 'Big Breasted Beauty' but it is a play on their Chinese names 'Tai Yu' and 'Mei Hang'.] that caused a lot of laughs. Melissa appeared not to mind at all when she heard this name and immediately laughed along with everyone. When asked if she was bothered by this rather crude nickname, she laughed: "This is the first time that I have worked with Michael and we are working very happily and well together, so that is why they call us this name. I know they are all joking and just having some fun!" As for Michael, he had nothing but compliments for Melissa, saying: "Actually, Melissa's first series was 'Detective Investigation Files' and you could say that we had worked together before, but our storylines were different and we did not meet properly. This time it is different because we play a couple and are always together. After getting to know her, I find her to be very nice and easy to get along with. The feeling I get from her can be summed up in one word: good!"

The cast of TVB's new series "Yummy Yummy - Food for Life" including Charmaine Sheh, Kevin Cheng, Tavia Yeung, Raymond Lam and Carlo Ng are currently filming on location in Singapore. As this is the first joint production between TVB and Singapore's Mediacorp Studios, there is a heavy focus on this series and a special press conference was held to mark this. After the Hong Kong cast had joined with the Singaporean cast earlier to film in Zhuhai, they had already become great friends and for Charmaine, Kevin, Tavia and Raymond, they have been warmly received by their local hosts and are working very well together with them.
