This is the best way of distancing myself from gossip." When asked if she was afraid of terrorist attacks, she said with a relaxed air: "You can't be so afraid of everything, it happens all the time now." Flora Chan was interviewed yesterday for Commercial Radio and she explained her absence from the earlier TVB celebratory party being down to her being ill. She has been to see the doctor who says she has mild food poisoning and she is not worried about it being gastroenteritis.

After two more days filming, Flora's series "Gak Sai Jui Hung" will have completed filming and as she has a lot of fight scenes in the series, she has been approached for more action series making her very happy indeed. She says that this is because she has wanted to become a fighting star since she entered showbiz six years ago and now her wish has come true. As for facing her performances to come, she has been learning martial arts with a teacher. When asked whether her desire to do fight scenes is because she doesn't want to do kiss scenes, she laughs: "It doesn't matter, fighting girls can still kiss in the air! (Are you looking to challenge Michelle Yeoh?) Not at all, but I really like her. (Do you see Michelle as your role model?) This will depend on what position I can manage to get to, I think it is better to be your own role model."

With Flora signing a friend as her new manager and only signing a per episode contract with TVB, what plans does she have lined up? She reveals that she will be concentrating on acting and only singing as a secondary job. She will also be looking at other work including Hollywood. As for the prime slot at the end of the year, she will be making the most of stage performances, heading out to America in January. Is she afraid of terrorism? She says that you can't let them affect you because it is happening all the time.
