[Ta Kung Pao]

TVB's ancient drama "Dai Tong Seung Lung Juen" (Double Dragon of the Tang)'s cast, including Raymond Lam, Ron Ng, Tavia Yeung, Leila Tong, Christine Ng and Evon Yung have been filming in teams since July in Mainland China, firstly in Xinchang, then in Yongkang and finally in Wushe. The whole filming process will take about six months and end in December.

Christine Ng was recently back in Hong Kong and told of the conditions they were working under as she looked markedly slimmer. She says this is not the thinnest she has been as at one point she was down to 102 lb but has gone back up to 104 lb now. The reason for her losing weight was not down to the hard work, but because the weather was so hot, up to 50 degrees C, the highest for fifty years. Together with the different tastes in food locally, she hasn't eaten correctly, but luckily she has been sponsored with soup packs and she shares these with her colleagues. When asked whether her husband would worry about her, she smiles: "Of course, he says that it is the most painful for him this time, calling me a wafer biscuit, however I feel that losing weight now is just right because I look better on camera this way!"

Although the weather has been hot, the spirits of the actors have been high. Take Christine for example, she has been doing her own wirework, but she hurt herself at one point and has had to return to Hong Kong for treatment. Because this show is led mainly by the young artistes, the only other from Christine's generation is Evon Yung, but with none of their scenes just yet, do they feel bored? She says she is not bored because they are very happy together. She says: "In the past when I have been filming I haven't been very sociable, but this time I go out with a bunch of youngsters and they have nicknamed me "Ah Song" (Crazy One) because I go a bit crazy when I am out playing."
