Benny Chan has been promoting his Taiwanese series "Holding Hands Towards Tomorrow" in Taiwan, where he has a lot of steamy scenes with female lead Hsaio Shumin. When asked whether this would cause some jealousy in rumoured girlfriend Charmaine Sheh, Benny laughs: "Charmaine and Hsiao are both my girl friends, I am not afraid of Charmaine being jealous, the best thing would be for us to watch it together!" Denying all along his relationship with Charmaine, Benny points out especially that Charmaine is not his girlfriend really and no matter who he is working with, he will be totally focused in filming.

"Holding" is a Taiwanese language series and there are criticisms that Benny's Mandarin is not even up to scratch so he is jumping the gun by filming a Taiwanese series. Benny admits that it was hard work because not only did he have to know his lines well, he also has to remember his co-stars scripts because if he does not refer to the script he will not know what the other person is saying.
