Michael Tao will be returning to TVB in August and his first shoot will be for Mui Siu Ching's new show "Ching Chut Yu Nam" (From Blue Grows Green), where Michael and old friends Bobby Au-Yeung and Kenix Kwok will be in solid partnership, playing teachers.

It is apparent that this return to his mother company is very important to TVB who has created this character especially for him, because in his many years of acting, Michael has never played a teacher, so he hopes he will offer a fresh image to viewers; as for Bobby, he will be playing the headmaster, who used to be an accountant, so he is rather nifty with figures treating the school as a set of accounts that must make a profit, later he is moved emotionally and becomes a good headmaster. Other cast includes Paul Chun and Shirley Yeung.

In addition, for the part of the schoolkids, Producer Mui Siu Ching will be holding auditions in July to select her cast, choosing from the mass of new young popstars. Many record companies have been jumping at this opportunity and promoting their latest signings to the producer.

Because the whole show will be centred around the school, TVB has sought the co-operation from the Education authorities not only in research, but also for the premises for location filming. The most surprising is the amount of freedom that they have allowed TVB, not needing to inspect the script, understanding that even if the story involves some bad teachers, this is just part of the moral in the story.
