Heavily promoted by TVB, Bernice Liu took part in an interview on Metro Radio yesterday and the DJ gave her a special present in the form of a pair of boxing gloves, wishing for her two series "Lut Ching San Yan Wong" (Survivor's Law) and "Gai Dai Foon Hei" (Virtues of Harmony II) will break through 40 ratings points. Bernice took two years of boxing whilst she was studying and is also a blue belt in Taekwondo, definitely a fighter as well as a looker!

She recalls that when she was studying in Canada, she once took part in a Taekwondo competition and the person she met in the final was her own little brother, to let her brother win, she went easy on him and lost on purpose. With practising boxing and Taekwondo, does she feel that she loses her femininity? Bernice says: "No, actually I felt really cool at the time." However she has no intentions of becoming a fighting star, because she hears from Shirley Yeung and Sonija Kwok that making action shows is very hard work. Her favourite martial artist star is Michelle Yeoh.

Bernice was waring a T-shirt similar to one previously worn by Vicky Zhao, showing the Japanese Military Flag. She says she didn't know about Vicky: "This is a Moschino shirt that my auntie bought me, if I was working in China then I wouldn't be wearing it like I do in Hong Kong."

Jessica Hsuan has a head of jet black hair as her trademark, but in the mainland series "Sin Nui Yau Wan" (A Chinese Ghost Story) her image is that of a golden head of hair, earning her a nickname of the "Female Golden Maned Lion" among the internet community. However she doesn't mind about this comment, saying that she doesn't really care for the pretty girl reputation, being a heroine flying about is more fun!

The 18th August is Jessica's birthday and her birthday wish is to lie on a beach with her boyfriend to watch the stars, however she won't be able to fulfil this wish because she doesn't have another half just yet. She complains that her previous boyfriends weren't romantic enough, saying that the sea breezes were too strong or that it was too dangerous, she is afraid that her little wish will never come true.

Jessica is a typical Leo personality, as well as loving outdoor activities such as diving, she will not hide her feelings if she is in love and will tell the other person outright.
