Michael Leung, Kingdom Yuen and a few other artists have a tradition of giving out mooncakes to the elderly before the mid-autumn festival. Since they have been doing this for a number of years, the manufacturers usually give them a good deal and ask for as low as 20 Hong Kong Dollars per box.

Unfortunately, someone took advantage of this great tradition, and bought 150 boxes of mooncakes on their behalf just to get the discount. The police has already started the investigation.

According to Michael, Kingdom first suggested giving out mooncakes to the elderly. The idea was well received, and it later became a tradition. They called the manufacturers a few days ago like they used to around this time of year, and were told a TVB employee already bought the mooncakes on their behalf. Both parties then realized the so-called "TVB employee" was a fake, and they promptly informed the police. Michael suggested from now on, the artists should buy the mooncakes in person, and all calls to order on their behalf be ignored. This way, people with bad intentions will not be able to turn a good deed into a bad, selfish act.
