Julian "Chilam" Cheung appeared at Tseung Kwan O TVCity for some stills photography for "Sai Kwan Dai Siu" (Master of the Western Quarter) yesterday and revealed that he has terminated his contract with his manager of seven years Chan Suk Fan and will shortly be announcing his new arrangements. Julian will be concentrating on his film career after signing with a new management company who will provide him with more of these opportunities.

When asked why he did not renew his contract, Julian explains: "My work with Mrs Chan has been very happy and perfect, but a time will come when it will end and I would like to try my luck to see if something new can come out of a new partnership." Will he be continuing to make series? Julian says this will depend on what the new company arranges. So will "Sai" be his last ever show with TVB? Julian replies obediently: "Of course not, TVB are so good!"

With "Sai" just finished filming, Julian says that this was the hardest work he has had to do for a series because his role is a heavy lead, however he has completed it smoothly plus he got on well with the other actors and it was a happy experience, despite not being able to escape the rumours between him and Charmaine.
